About Jim Barger

In my Business Career I have been involved in Restaurants, Software Marketing, Manufacturing, Recruitment, Training, Warehousing, Retailing, and Furniture! I have worked as both Consultant and Coach, as Trouble-Shooter and CEO. My broad experience allows me to quickly grasp your business issues.

I was born in Nebraska and grew up in Omaha. I graduated from Westside and UNO and have been married to my wife Janet since 1982. We have two daughters and returned to Omaha from New Zealand in 2007. I’m a local guy with international experience.

After earning my MBA from UNO, I had the privilege of working with business owners in Southeast Asia, and enjoyed owning two businesses in New Zealand. I have had the rare privilege to work with, and own, a diverse range of businesses around the world – and with an equally diverse range of business owners, partners and associates! I understand the challenges of working with partners and stakeholders.

Before I joined ActionCOACH I was the owner / manager of four companies, and I understand the pressures, challenges and pleasures associated with being your own boss. You need to be able to discuss your business with someone who doesn’t work for you, isn’t  married to you, and you don’t owe money to! Becoming a Coach has given me the opportunity to help fellow business owners and entrepreneurs get amazing results…

Having been personally trained by Brad Sugars, the founder of ActionCOACH, and with the support of the Action Global resources, my Coaching, Training and Development Programs are World Class. Having a Coach will be the single most positive investment you’ll make in your business and yourself – all top performers have a Coach, now you can get yours…

ActionCOACH clients range from Lawyers to Accountants, Car Dealers to Construction companies – all are making more money and working less to achieve their goals.

When you are sure you are ready to embark upon a journey to massively improve your business, your income and your lifestyle – achieving the ambitions and dreams you went into business for in the first place – it’s time to get into ACTION. I’ll buy the coffee if you bring the topic – Boom! one problem solved.

Let’s meet . . .

What on earth is a business coach and why would I need one?
